Personal Tax Returns
For business owners whose company return we already handle, and for individuals who simply want their return done properly — in English or Spanish.
Who this is for
- Business owners whose entity return we prepare, so both sides are consistent.
- Sole proprietors, whose business income is reported on the personal return anyway.
- Individuals and families with no business at all.
- Anyone who needs an ITIN for themselves, a spouse or a dependent in order to file.
Prior-year and back taxes
If you have not filed for a few years, that is a solvable problem and a common one. We file the open years in order, so each return starts from the right carried-forward position. Filing late costs considerably less than not filing — see deadlines and penalties for why the two penalties are not the same size.
If you received an IRS notice
Most notices are narrower than they look, and many are resolved with a single accurate reply. We will read it with you, explain what it is actually asking, and help you prepare the response and gather what it asks for.
An important limit. We prepare returns under a PTIN, but we are not Enrolled Agents and we do not represent clients before the IRS. Helping you understand and respond to a notice is not the same as representation. If your situation needs someone to act on your behalf before the IRS, you need an Enrolled Agent, CPA or attorney, and we will say so rather than take the work.
Estimated payments
If your income is not covered by withholding — self-employment, distributions, rental income — the amount due is meant to be paid across the year. See quarterly estimates.
Talk to us about your return
